Ribbon and Appliqué Octopus

Look at this lovely Octopus that Karen Charles has embroidered.
The octopus is created by adding an applique layer of fabric without using the Ribbon attachment, before adding the ribbon on top!
Just make sure to use the Positioning feature on your machine to make the two layers match up and this will be a breeze!
The rest of the scene is created by layering both regular embroideries and more ribbon embroideries.
